Hi, my name is Aubrey Nolan and I just started posting a new webcomic called Gearland. You can check it out on my livejournal, or at www.gearlandcomic.blogspot.com. The first comic is up right now-it centers on an alternate history of the United States after the Civil War, through the eyes of two sisters. Just click on my username to go to it. It helps to read the Preface first for background information. The next one should be up by tomorrow (Tuesday). After this week, I'll be on a regular schedule of posting Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
I just went to www.gearlandcomic.blogspot.com and the page says "No posts match your query."
I applaud your motivation. Just remember that you should focus on quality over quantity at this point. If you put out a weak product on the web, it's too easy for your audience to skip it for the next big thing, and you may never be able to ramp up that traffic again.
Also, if people expect three new panels/comics a week, they'll expect it a year from now regardless of circumstances. Pace yourself and put out a quality product that you can be proud of, because in the end, you'll be the one caring about it the most.
Ah yes, I was having a bit of trouble with blogspot. But now I've got it figured out (I'm better at drawing than figuring out blogs, apparently) so starting next week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are to be the regular days, both on livejournal and blogspot.
Sorry for the delay!
And thanks for the advice :)
